Linnea Fletcher, EdD, MSN, RN, CEN, TCRN


Dr. Linnea Fletcher is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice at The Ohio State University; she has demonstrated expertise in education and clinical practice.  

Dr. Fletcher earned her Doctorate in Education from Northern Kentucky University; her dissertation focused on fatigue in undergraduate nursing students. Her teaching strategies incorporate leadership principles and engagement in wellness for clinicians in highly chaotic settings.  Her dedication and passion for nursing education has been recognized by students and colleagues.  In 2019, students honored her as Clinical Instructor of the Year, and in 2020 she was chosen to receive the Ohio State College of Nursing Outstanding Teacher Award.  

Linnea Fletcher has been a registered nurse for over 20 years and is a Certified Emergency Nurse and a Trauma Certified Registered Nurse; she continues to practice clinically in the emergency department. Recognizing the importance of patient-centered, holistic practice, Dr. Fletcher completed a graduate certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching in December 2020 and acquired a certification as a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach. In her continued quest for wellness, she has achieved level of Reiki Master and practices daily.
